TCC Disability Voting Rights Awareness Event (11:00am – 12:30pm)
In recognition of Disability Voting Rights Week in September, the Tidewater Community College Office of Educational Accessibility, in partnership with the Virginia Beach Voter Registration and Elections Office, will host a Disability Voting Rights Awareness Event on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Joint Use Library, 1700 College Crescent, Virginia Beach, VA 23453.

Join us to learn about voting rights, explore accessible voting tools, and access resources designed to help everyone become election-ready.
This event is focused on empowering individuals with disabilities to fully participate in the democratic process by providing information about voting accessibility, voter protections, and available accommodations. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about accessible voting options, understand their rights as voters, and connect with resources that support informed and independent participation in elections.
