Deadlines & Related Events
The early voting period is Friday, September 19 to Saturday, November 1. Registrar offices and satellite voting locations will be open on Saturday, October 25 and Saturday, November 1. Check with your local registrar for satellite locations and hours.
Friday, October 24 is the deadline to register to vote or update your voter registration. In Virginia, voters can register and vote in-person after October 24 using a provisional ballot. The deadline to apply for a ballot to be mailed to you is 5:00pm on Friday, October 24.

Proposed Constitutional Amendment Question: Should the Constitution of Virginia be amended to allow the General Assembly to temporarily adopt new congressional districts to restore fairness in the upcoming elections, while ensuring Virginia’s standard redistricting process resumes for all future redistricting after the 2030 census?
