The Norfolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority (NRHA) will open Project-Based Voucher (PBV) and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) waitlists for several communities from 9:00am on Tuesday, July 28 until 4:00pm on Monday, August 3. The information shared below is from the NRHA website. 

PBV and LIHTC Waitlists Open July 28 for Select NRHA Communities

The Norfolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority (NRHA) will open Project-Based Voucher (PBV) and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) waitlists for select communities beginning 9 a.m. Tuesday, July 28.

 

Applications will be accepted online only through 4 p.m. Monday, Aug. 3.

 

Eligible households may apply at:  https://housing.nrha.us.

 

Duplicate applications will not be accepted. 

 

Residents with an existing Rent Café account should log in through their portal to apply.

Eligibility Requirements

For Diggs Town Phase I, Grandy Revitalization, and Grandy VI, the head of household and all household members age 18 and older, except full-time students, must:

• Be employed a minimum of 15 hours per week for at least six months; or
• Qualify for an exception as an elderly person, a person with a disability, or a caregiver of a person who is blind or has a disability as defined by the Social Security Act.

Applicants may qualify if household income falls between 40% and 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI).
