Autism Society Tidewater Virginia is now accepting applications for their next 12-week Love & Relationships on The Spectrum program, a relational skill-building program for individuals diagnosed with Autism between 20 and 35 years old.
This program reviews the relationship ladder and enhances participants’ social reciprocity skill-sets and will focus on different topics related to dating and relationships via live role playing, guest speakers, and other opportunities, including the capstone speed dating event where participants can practice what they learned.
The program will begin on Friday, September 8, 2023 after individual evaluations are completed prior to the start date. Sessions will begin at 6:00 PM at the new FACT Autism Resource Center in Virginia Beach. Transportation is not provided, but can accept participants from HRT Paratransit, Uber, and Lyft.
Application will close at 5:00 PM on Friday, August 11, 2023.
