Now Accepting Applications for Aspire – Former Tidewater Residents Only

For a limited time only, Norfolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority (NRHA) is accepting applications for Aspire at Church Street, a Project Based Voucher (PBV) / Low-Income Housing Tax Credit community for former Tidewater Gardens residents who relocated out of the community on or after February 28, 2019. Aspire offers 1, 2 and 3-bedroom apartments and is located at 645 Church Street in Norfolk.

The waitlist will open Monday, April 1, at 9 a.m.

The waitlist will close Thursday, May 16, at 4 p.m. 

Eligible applicants can apply online by computer or smartphone at https://nrha.myhousing.com

Duplicate applications will not be accepted.

Hard copy applications can be mailed to Norfolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority, Attention: Occupancy Department, P. O. Box 968, Norfolk, VA 23501. Applications can also be hand delivered Monday – Friday from 8 a.m.- 4 p.m. to 555 E. Main Street, Norfolk, First Floor Lobby in the Occupancy dropbox.
