ECI participants 18 and older can create a personal my Social Security account from any location and on any device. Most ECI participants may use their account to do such things as request a replacement Social Security card, access their benefit verification letter (proof of income letter), make changes to their address and direct deposit information, and request replacement Social Security Benefit Statements (Form SSA-1099) for tax purposes. If you are unable to use Social Security services online (ssa.gov) and need to speak to someone, call toll-free: 1-800-772-1213 (TTY 1-800-325-0778) 8:00am to 7:00pm.
