Norfolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority (NRHA) is accepting online applications for the Project Based Voucher (PBV)/ Tax Credit Program beginning Monday, March 24 at 9 a.m. and closing Tuesday, April 22 at 4 p.m. for the following communities:

Cottage Bridge (1 – 2 bedrooms)

Riverside Station Apartments (1 – 3 bedrooms)

The Retreat at Harbor Pointe (2 – 3 bedrooms)

 Eligible applicants include the following:

  • Current participants in NRHA Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program
  • Current residents in NRHA Low-Income Affordable Housing Program
  • Current applicants on wait lists for either above program
  • Applicants who are not current participants, residents and/or applicants.

Crescent Square – Single Room Occupancy (SRO)

Eligible applicants include the following:

  • Homeless (applicants residing with family members or friends will not be considered homeless)

Applications can be accessed at nrha.myhousing.com by computer or smartphone. The waitlist will close at 4 p.m. on April 22. Duplicate applications will not be accepted.

To qualify, your income must be equal to or below those listed in the following chart based on the number of persons who will be living in the apartment.

Applicants for all wait lists noted above may qualify at 50% of the Area Median Income (AMI) and current residents of an Assisted Housing Community may qualify up to the 80% of the AMI. If you have any questions, please call (757) 624-8615 / TDD (800) 545-1833.
